Industrial computer manufacturer Winmate reported a record-high revenue of NT$293 million (US$9.16 million) for August, reflecting a 3% increase from the previous month and a 36.9% year-on-year growth. Cumulative revenue for the first eight months also reached a new milestone, totaling NT$2.018 billion (US$63.10 million), a 13.6% increase compared to the same period last year. This exceptional performance is attributed to strong shipments from the company’s automotive inspection projects, large-scale medical projects, and defense orders. Winmate aims to surpass the NT$300 million (US$96.93 million) mark in September, potentially setting another record. This year, the company secured a major order from a leading U.S. warehouse logistics equipment provider, and its defense and military business has made inroads into the drone and robotics sectors. The outlook for Winmate remains highly optimistic, with both revenue and profit expected to reach new heights.

Last week, Winmate held an investor conference on Thursday, September 12th, followed by an inauguration ceremony for its new headquarters on Friday, September 13th, marking the beginning of Winmate's 2.0 growth phase. In 2019, the company invested NT$1.15 billion (US$35.96 million) in a land acquisition and expansion project in New Taipei City, which has an annual production capacity of NT$6 billion (US$187.61 million). With this year's revenue projected to exceed NT$3 billion, full utilization of this new production site is expected to enable the company to double its performance.

This year, in addition to the company’s existing large-scale projects, including those with European automotive manufacturers and U.S. medical equipment providers, Winmate is reported to have secured several new customers and orders. These include projects from U.S. warehouse logistics companies and the defense and military sectors, which are gradually ramping up, are expected to significantly boost the company’s growth momentum for the future.
