What to learn from this article:

  • “Embedded World holds its inaugural exhibition in the U.S.”
  • “Avalue introduces a new series of embedded modular systems designed to offer flexibility through rapid and straightforward I/O customization.”
  • “The market anticipates significant growth for Avalue in 2025, with a substantial contribution expected from its U.S. operations.”

Avalue, a Taiwanese industrial computer manufacturer, has experienced a strong performance boost starting in the third quarter, fueled by substantial orders from regions including Europe, the U.S., China, and Japan. The company’s operations have shown steady, quarter-on-quarter growth this year.

Avalue continues to roll out new products and actively engage in major international exhibitions. In October, it will present its cutting-edge solutions and integration capabilities for the rapidly growing IoT sector at Embedded World North America, taking place from October 8-10 at the Austin Convention Center in Texas.

Furthermore, Avalue recently introduced the newest members of its Embedded Modular System (EMS) family — EMS-MTU and EMS-MTH — designed to capitalize on edge AI opportunities. These platforms offer exceptional flexibility through fast and simple I/O customization, allowing customers to swiftly and easily prototype by selecting the modules that best suit their application needs.

Avalue's long-delayed high-end medical server order for cardiac catheterization in Europe began shipping in July, contributing to its revenue stream. Institutional investors predict that the order’s contribution to next year’s performance will be twice as high as this year. In the industrial automation sector, Avalue has secured a significant order from a Chinese automotive manufacturer, with shipments scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter. Next Year is anticipated to be the key period for revenue contribution from this sector. In the smart retail sector, Avalue has landed a major order from a Japanese conveyor belt sushi chain, with deliveries commencing in June and expected to continue driving revenue into next year. Institutional investors are optimistic about Avalue’s double-digit growth prospects for next year, with profits potentially reaching the value of one share capital.

With the increasing maturity of the AIoT trend, Embedded World, the world’s largest exhibition for embedded electronics and industrial computer applications, is set to host its first North American event on October 8 at the Austin Convention Center in Texas. Avalue, a long-time participant in Embedded World events in Germany and China, will join this inaugural North American exhibition, where it will present its latest AI and IoT solutions.

Avalue also mentioned that its U.S. subsidiary, located in New Jersey, offers localized services to its North American customers. This region is Avalue's largest source of revenue, accounting for as much as 51% of its total revenue in the first half of this year, translating to approximately NT$ 1.75 billion (US$ 54.39 million). With the inaugural Embedded World exhibition taking place in the U.S., Avalue is well-positioned to leverage this momentum and further expand its business operations.
